About CJ:

Craig (CJ) A. Brice, Jr. was born in Columbus, Ohio, 20 years ago this November. He is a 2011 high school graduate from Fort Hayes MEC College Preparatory Program where, during his senior year, he was one of only 10 students (from over 500) selected for the National Technical Honor Society (http://www.nths.org/) after his two years of focus on Landscape Design. He also received the PRC (Pride, Respect and Commitment) Award from Fort Hayes. He was an ongoing Honor Roll student throughout high school and received The Landscape Award of Distinction in 2009-2010.  He became interested in Landscape Design while volunteering at the Central Community House community garden at the age of 15.

CJ has put in many hours volunteering at different organizations over the past several years, including: the Greater Columbus Arts Council, TRANSIT ARTS, Flip the Script REBEL, and Central Community House. CJ is currently employed at TRANSIT ARTS as an Apprentice Artist/Adminstrator working with youth and assisting with various workshops and events in the community. He was hired in the July of 2011 at Franklin Park Conservatory to work in landscaping of the Franklin Park grounds. Additionally, he has performed dance, theatre, and live painting with TRANSIT ARTS at numerous venues including: Redeemer Lutheran Church Harvest Festival, Ohio Dance Festival Young Choreographers Showcase, Community Shelter Board, COSI, Flip the Script REBEL and many others.  He has exhibited and sold artwork at Black Creek Bistro, the State Office Tower and MadLab Theatre.  He was recently honored with both the 2011 Central Ohio Crime Stoppers Award, and the 2011 Central Community House VillageMakers Award.
